‘Creativity is an act of defiance’ - Twyla Tharp
I’m a lifelong performer, starting at the ripe age of seven after auditioning and being accepted into the Heartland Youth Choir as their (at the time) youngest regional touring member. Singing tapped into a deeper desire for storytelling, and led me to musical theater. It wasn’t until seeing a production of Peter Pan that I knew I wanted to act professionally and most undoubtedly believe in magic.
Some of my earliest memories include theatrical portrayals of a baby bird, a demon, and a hamster CPR expert (that one required real dedication.) My credits include musical theater, film, audiobook narration, and animation. One of my most recent and exciting credits to date is my first role in an animated feature film for Sony, release date to be announced.
In addition to acting, I have also extensively studied improv, vocal music, dance/movement techniques, playwriting, and the fine art of bookstore browsing.
I am happy to say I fulfilled my lifelong dream of attending drama school and graduated in 2019 from the CalArts School of Theater with a BFA in Acting and a minor in Creative Writing.
I continue to take ongoing training in a variety of mediums and techniques, including private voice over coaching and in 2022 completed the Second City Conservatory’s improv/sketch comedy program!
In my downtime, you can usually find me curled up in my Los Angeles apartment with a coffee, a spooky book or game, and my spunky sidekick, Baby the chihuahua mix (although I am convinced she’s some sort of fairytale creature disguised as a dog.)
After a long journey to get here, I am finally comfortable saying that I am a queer woman. My pronouns are she/her/hers.
